Energy worth more than half of the PSI-20 at the expense of BES – TVI24

The financial sector was worth almost 25% of the PSI-20, but currently, and after the collapse of the BES and the creation of the New Bank unquoted banking loses ground again: BCP, BPI and Banif represent just over 13 % of the combined capitalization of the 18 listed in the index reference, writes the Economic Daily.

The troubled times in the financial sector are being exploited by the energy sector, an area which in early 2008 was worth about a third of the Portuguese stock market and currently represents more than half the value of the domestic market.

From the beginning of the year listed become more valuable EUR 4.3 billion, with a market capitalization Accumulated EUR 28 300 million. Already listed in the financial sector worth € 7.4 billion.
