Controlinveste agreed to terminate the contract with João Marcelino, director of the Daily News , which on Thursday parting the direction of the newspaper.
André Macedo, current director of the Mad Money ( Newspaper Online and economy section of newspapers and JN DN ) was invited to assume the direction of the Daily News in September. Until then, Nuno Saraiva, current deputy director, will assume the position of interim director.
João Marcelino was director of DN since March 2007, after leading the Record and Morning Post .
This change in direction of the newspaper comes 15 days after Manuel Tavares was replaced by Alfredo Leite towards the News Journal , another of the group headings.
Controlinveste has, since March this year, the investor António Mosquito Angolan and Portuguese businessman Luis Montez among its shareholders.
