More than 60% of the claims without payments from January to March of … – iOnline

More than 60 percent of cases instituted in the courts of first instance for credit recovery processes were without payments from January to March this year, according to the Directorate-General for Justice Policy (DGPJ).

data from the first quarter of 2014 indicate that 38.7 percent of cases registered with recognized claims payments, while 61.3% had no actual payment of amounts due.

At the rate of recovery of loans – the proportion of the amount of claims paid over the amount of credits recognized by the courts – the record in the first quarter was 32.1%, versus 61.3% without payments

For the same period of 2013, the DGPJ marked increase of 23.5 percentage points, getting up due to just one lawsuit.

In this process, the amount recovered amounted to 94% of total credits recovered by the courts in the first quarter of this year.
