Rioforte announced early on Monday that it has reached an agreement with the Swiss company for the sale of Springwater Holy Spirit Travel (Travel ES), owner of Top Atlantic. According to the statement sent, “the Holy Spirit Travel will become an asset of Springwater, which reinforces their investments in the tourism sector. A Swiss company wants to establish itself as an important player the Iberian tourism market. “
According to the same statement last month from January to Springwater had already closed another deal with Royal Caribbean, through which got a majority stake in all businesses of Pullmantur, except the cruise business.
The deal between Rioforte and the Swiss company, the statement said, was reviewed and approved by the Court of Commerce of Luxembourg, where the July 22, Rioforte submitted an application for placing under the controlled management. The court’s decision on 6 October will be known.
Among the assets of Rioforte are the 55% that the company holds in the Holy Spirit Health Care Investments, which in turn owns 51% of ES Health (the other 49% are dispersed in bag). The ES Health is being fought over by various stakeholders, with currently two takeover bids in progress.
