According to sources close to the process, who spoke on condition of anonymity to the same newspaper, the investigation, begun last year, was extended due to the discovery of new facts.
The PGR said that there are “investigations related to TAP and that these investigations are secret justice, it is not possible to specify the object of the process.”
According advances the Economic , investigations are being conducted on the ground by the Judicial Police, since the late 2013′s practice of influence peddling and corruption crimes in the privatization of TAP were at the time in question.
Privatization of the Government on the table
Also according to the paper, the research focuses on the process of selling the TAP, initiated by the Government in 2012 and ended in December of the same year with the rejection of the offer by Gérman Efromovich, the Synergy group.
The TAP would not comment on this, because is unaware of any investigation by the authorities.
