The process began, according to today’s edition of the Economic Journal, last year and has grown in recent months, with the discovery of new facts that led to the extension of the research. The newspaper writes that the investigation is being conducted by PJ on suspicion of crimes of corruption and influence peddling in an attempt to privatize TAP. The Brazilian-Colombian entrepreneur Germán Efromovich was the only candidate.
The prosecutor told the newspaper that “ongoing investigations are secret justice”.
