Bad debts of families goes back up in September – TSF Online

According to the central bank in September of EUR 125 034 million that the bank had loaned to families, 5.363 million were considered doubtful loans, representing 4.29% of total loans.

Compared with the month earlier, the total credit granted to private individuals fell from 125 499 million in August to € 125 034 million in September 2014, but the bad debt increased from EUR 5,348 million to EUR 5,363 million in the same period.

In the case of companies, bad debt also increased in September, both YoY as compared to the previous month, reaching EUR 93 165 million, ie 13.88% of total credit granted to companies.

A year ago, companies had loans totaling EUR 100 639 million, and of these, 11,995 million were considered doubtful, equivalent to 11.91% of total loans.
