IMF suspended aid to Greece form a government – TVI24

The International Monetary Fund announced Monday in Washington suspending aid to Greece until the formation of the Government to win the early elections.

“Negotiations with the Greek authorities on the sixth tranche of the program help … will only be completed after the new Governments took office, “he said in Washington the IMF spokesman Gerry Rice.

The same official also said the IMF has consulted the European Commission and the European Central Bank.

The legislative elections were anticipated today for next January 25 after the parliamentary defeat to choose the presidential candidate proposed by the coalition government (New Democracy and PASOK) led by Antonis Samaras .

The next review of the troika was scheduled for mid-January.
