Decision on TAP scheduled for the first half of June – Daily News – Lisbon

The Economy Minister António Pires de Lima, hopes to take a decision on the privatization of TAP the Council of Ministers in the first half of June.

The government decided by the Cabinet on Thursday to spend negotiating with two of the three candidates for purchasing 66% of TAP Group, German Efromovich and David Neeleman, pushing the consortium Miguel Pais do Amaral, for non-compliance the “minimum requirements legally required by the specifications.”
