The rent subsidy, which will pay the difference between the value of the updated income and what the tenant can support depending on their financial situation, was approved yesterday by the government. The cost associated with this support will be around an average of 28 million per year, which means that the horizon of the 14 years that should work (end of 2017 and 2031), the state will subsidize rents of EUR 364 million .
Creating this income subsidy was provided for in the new lease arrangements which entered into force in November 2012 and is intended to tenants with previous contracts to 1990, they have raised before the landlord situation of need economic during the process of updating the rent.
