BES: “Justice has to work,” says president of BCP – TVI24

The President of the BCP, Nuno Amado, not wanted to stretch this Monday in comments on the recent developments of the case BES / GES, considering it is a matter that is in the court of Justice and that this has to work.

“I have no comment on that, it is a matter of justice, it has to work,” said the head during the BCP results presentation press conference in the first half, with profits of nearly 241 million euros.

And stressed: “The banking system and the particular BCP will also be affected by the process by Settlement Mechanism is not worth speculating, we must wait.”.

Under the case Universe Holy Spirit take place in the Central Department of Investigation and Penal Action five independent inquiries and surveys 73 joined to one of them, due to complaints of victims of BES and GES.

They are already known the names of the six defendants in the case Universe Holy Spirit: in addition to Ricardo Salgado, Isabel Almeida and António Soares, names that were already public knowledge, the Attorney General’s Office reveals now that the list also included José Castella, the former financial controller of the Holy Spirit Group, Claudia Boal de Faria, who was responsible for saving the BES management department, and even Pedro Luis Costa.
