Bank evaluation of homes rose nearly 3% – iOnline

The average value of bank evaluation in December emphasized the growing trend and stood at 1,050 euros per square meter (m2), up 0.7% compared to November and 4.5% year on year. The figures were advanced, on Monday, the National Statistics Institute (INE).


 
 

According to the INE, for the whole of 2015 the average appraised value stood at 1,034 euros / m2, which resulted in an increase of 2.6% over the previous year and reversed the “sharp reductions “2012 and 2013 (in 2014 there was a stabilization).

 
 

The monthly increase of 0.7% in December was “in large part determined” by the variations observed in the North (0.8%) and the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (0.4%) and the average values ​​of evaluation per m2 of these regions was 923 EUR / m2 and 1,272 Euros / m2 in the same order.

 
 

With regard to the year change, all regions showed higher average values ​​in December and growth “more intense” than the same month of 2014.
