Requests for reimbursement of amounts of water deposits, electricity or gas can be made by July 31, according to the law approved today by the Council of Ministers.
The decision, announced today by the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Maria Manuel Leitão Marques, at the press conference after the meeting of the Government also establishes a deadline of June 30 for the issuance, by providers Services, of declarations of the right to collateral refund.
The deadline for providers of the three services to communicate customer lists entitled to the return of deposits ended on 31 December.
At today’s meeting the Government also approved a draft law project on the return of cultural objects unlawfully removed from the territory of an EU Member State.
It is explained a statement of the Government, the transposition into national law of an EU directive which aims to protect the movable cultural heritage of the EU states and prevent illicit trafficking.
