Spending with lower unemployment benefits since 2008 – Correio da Manhã

Spending on unemployment benefits is expected to reach this year’s lowest level since 2008, when the unemployment rate it was 7.6%, down by 3.7 points to the estimated for this year, indicates the UTAO.

in its final report on the draft state budget for 2016, which the Lusa had this Wednesday access, the Technical Unit of Budget Support (UTAO) writes that “spending on unemployment benefits in 2016 is expected to reach the minimum value since 2008,” recalling that the Government plans to allocate 1,608 million euros to this item this year.
