Express: GES paid covenants to political and had 2 million in notes in boxes – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

according to the same source, the ES Enterprises made payments for more than 20 years have never known. Among the beneficiaries of these payments have also been managers of BES and PT.

For more than a year that the prosecution is in possession of this list of alleged payments, which the newspaper calls “explosive”. The ES Enterprises efectuava these payments through accounts in “offshore” of beneficiaries and cash in envelopes.

Safes EUR 2 million in notes

in the edition of Saturday, the Express also gives account of other news related to the Espírito Santo Group. Police found bundles of notes with the amount of 2 million euros in safes belonging to the Superior of the GES Council.

Some of the money (994,000 euros), which was never claimed, was in the house safe which met the Superior Council in San Bernardo Street. In another safe in the street, a BIC agency, were the remaining EUR 1.16 million.

The latter had registered as José Castella tenants, Jorge Penedos and Mario Augusto Cardoso.

According to the newspaper, in the vaults there is no written reference to those who were for the bundles of notes.
