Quoted on the New York Stock Exchange since 2014 , Alibaba is subject to review by the SEC. In this context, the company’s lawyers led by Jack Ma (pictured) had to hand over related documents, for example, with accounting practices in the logistics business, the treatment of transactions with related companies and the reporting of operational data.
However, the company pointed out in the report, the US authorities explained that the request for information does not indicate that “there has been any violation of federal law of the assets.” The company’s shares reacted negatively this Wednesday, May 25. Here losing 5.65% to $ 76.535.
