Good note on the stress test postpones BCP accounts – TVI24

The BCP had good note in the stress tests conducted by the European Central Bank and will announce this performance publicly. It was for this reason that the institution led by Nuno Amado decided to postpone until Friday the presentation of interim results which was scheduled for Wednesday, reports the Business.

Disclosure of BCP provision for the year held by the European Central Bank was not intended. However, as the institution led by Nuno Amado was successful in the evaluation requested authorization to give the market indications about the results of your test, says the same newspaper.

At a minimum, the bank must announce that had a good performance in both the baseline scenario and the adverse scenario, and how slack solidity that has over the minimum conditions required by the supervisor. But if green light Frankfurt, BCP can even publish the detailed results of the year, as the European Banking Authority (EBA, in English acronym) will do for the 51 largest European banks.

There are two years, BCP was the only Portuguese bank to plumb the assessment of the ECB, which only happened in the adverse scenario. Now that had good note, the bank wishes to share this result with the market.
