bank evaluation of housing rises for the fourth consecutive month – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

The average value of bank credit rating to housing rose in July for the fourth consecutive month. Rose three euros compared to June and reached 1,068 euros per square meter, the highest since January 2012.

“The average value of bank evaluation, carried out in the housing lending, recorded growth for the fourth consecutive month, though less intense than the previous month “, said the National Statistics Institute report (INE). The document also states that this increase “was largely determined by the observed regions in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (0.3%) and Algarve (2.5%).”

The average assessment in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area reached 1,295 euros per square meter, while the Algarve region rose to 1,330 euros per square meter last month.
