There are about 1,300 new millionaires in Portugal – TVI24

There are more 1.339 new millionaires in Portugal, comparing with 2015. A study from Credit Suisse on wealth global said that the country has, in total, 54.233 people with a heritage above one million dollars (or 940 thousand euros). And the richest will come.

“The Credit Suisse Research Institute estimates that the number of millionaires in Portugal to increase 41% over the next 5 years. According to the study, in 2021 there will be 76.324 millionaires in Portugal”, it reads in the conclusions relating to Portugal, and that are cited by the Business, the seventh edition of the Global Wealth Report.

Among the more wealthy, there are 209 people with a heritage of more than 50 million dollars” and “only three have more than a thousand million”.

Have a lot of money, but the proportion of adults with a heritage above one million dollars is only 0.6% in the overall population. Be that as it may, there is another slice that also has a piggy bank filled the Portuguese with a wealth of between 100 thousand and 1 million dollars. Are 15% of the total population.

One thing are the rich, another for the rest of the population, but also here there are improvements: the average wealth of each Portuguese adult rose this year. for 77.113 dollars (72.664 euros), up 1.3% from last year.

Only that the vast majority – 84,4% – have less than 100 thousand dollars. Of these, 55.7 per cent have between 10 thousand and 100 thousand dollars and 28,7% not arrive to 10 thousand.
