The price of gasoline in the state of Ceará rises for the second week then – Globo.com

The price of gasoline in the state of Ceará had the second increase in two weeks, according to research released this Friday (16) by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP). According to the state, there are two Friday, December 2, the liter of gasoline was sold in the state of Ceará, on average, to R$ 3,80; the following week, the R$ 389; already this Friday the average cost in the gas stations of the state is$ 3.96, an increase of R$ 0,16 in 14 days.

The price-search of ANP was based on collection of 205 stations throughout the state. The lowest price in the state is R$ 3,58, of stations that have maintained product stock, and can sell the cost without the adjustment of the price of the product transferred by Petrobras at its refineries, on 5 December. With the end of the stock, it is possible that the price of gasoline has the third increase followed in three weeks.

Already the price of the most expensive found in the stations of Ceará, according to the ANP of R$ 4,20.

In two establishments the liter of gasoline is R$ 3,89. The prices were collected on the 13th of December and it is possible that currently they have values differentiated.

Increase in refineries
Petrobras justified the decision by the variation of the exchange rate and oil prices. “The main variables that explain the decision of the Executive Group are the increase observed in the prices of oil and oil products and the devaluation of the exchange rate in the recent period. On the other hand, the participation of Petrobras in the domestic market of diesel recorded small signs of recovery.”

In October, the company changed its policy of setting prices. Since then, a committee – 0 Executive Group and Market Prices (GEMP) – meets every 30 days to decide the value of the gasoline. In the last two meetings, on 14 October and 8 November, the price of petrol and diesel has been reduced.
